To get the right pack for your needs you need to count up the cameras you want to add. Sometimes an odd number of cameras is required. In that case it is best to choose the bigger pack, because you will probably need more in the future. By default, a licence for two cameras is installed. By applying the licence key in Surveillance Station, you are able to set up and manage more than two cameras on the network. Be aware that one licence key can contain multiple cameras (4/8 pack) and only be activated on one Synology Surveillance Station installation.
